Last week I announced pre-orders for Stronghold: Undead. 24 hours later I got more than 50 emails in my Inbox. But this is not the case of number. This is the case of range of my news.
I got orders from US, UK, Canada, Brasil, New Zeland, Australia, Hungary, Switzerland, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Netherlands…
This is exciting. I really mean it. You know, I live in a small village, some about 50 houses all together (and forest!), 20 km from Gliwice, small town in southern Poland. This is very very tiny dot on the Earth.
And yet, when I post info about Undead, this immediately goes worldwide.

I like to browse photos here on BGG to see where people play my games. Sometimes I browse web to see where people write about my games. Just yesterday I found rules for my Convoy translated into Spanish.

I have never been in Spain. My games, my ideas, my thoughts have. I found it amazing.
I strongly believe that good board game is the one that tells a good story. You play it and suddenly you are sucked into it, you feel chills on the skin. Emotions grow. In a moment you defend castle. You hear roar of warriors. You smell boiling oil. You are into it.
That's how I design my games. I always want to tell a good story. I want players to be into it. As deep as possible.
